Regular Ongoing Positions

• Start by paying either an engagement fee or the full registration fee.

• This gives you access to our platform, where you can:
  • Browse nanny profiles who have applied
  • Review their experience, qualifications, and availability
  • Select the nanny you’d like to meet

• Once you choose, the nanny will contact you to arrange a meeting at your home.

• This meeting lets you see how they interact with your children and decide if they’re the right fit.

• We’ll follow up to see how you feel after the meeting/s

Casual Bookings

• Usually, no meeting beforehand unless you want a regular nanny for weekly, fortnightly or monthly date nights.

• After selecting a nanny from the platform, they will call you before your booking to introduce themselves.

• Rest assured, the nanny who arrives is experienced and ready to care for your children.

One-Off Bookings

• We email you profiles of suitable nannies to review.

• You choose your preferred nanny, and we confirm the booking for you.

• Perfect for special events, occasional nights out, or when grandparents are away.

We’re dedicated to providing you with wonderful nannies and babysitters who meet your family’s unique needs.

Peace of mind:
All our caregivers are thoroughly screened and vetted before you meet them, with valid and up-to-date checks and certificates. Geelong Nannies also holds a full public liability insurance policy, covering both our team and clients up to $10,000,000 for any accidental property damage or medical expenses related to unforeseen injury. Ongoing support:
If you ever have an issue with your nanny and feel uncomfortable addressing it directly, we’re here to help as a mediator. Should the situation not be resolved, we will promptly find you a new nanny — no hesitation, no hassle.

Reliable replacements:
One of the many benefits of being part of the Geelong Nannies family is our ability to find a replacement nanny if your regular nanny is sick or needs a personal day. Even at short notice*, we do our best to ensure you’re covered — so you don’t have to miss work or rely on last-minute arrangements.

*Short notice availability depends on current nanny schedules and availability.

Unfortunately, most families cannot claim government rebates for in-home nanny care unless they meet very strict eligibility criteria. If your family does qualify, you will need to work with a registered provider agency to access those rebates.
